Lion Fight 36 - Hlavacek v. Banasiak 

In the co-main event, Paul “The Reaper” Banasiak (5-0) and Brett Hlavacek (17-5) fought a close fight.

Hlavacek controlled the middle rounds landing some big shots, including a hook, high-kick combination that just missed the Reaper’s chin.  But Banasiak came back in the later rounds with an aggressive clinch, and even appeared to hurt Hlavacek with an elbow off the clinch in the 4^th round. 

Ultimately, it was Banasiak that earned the unanimous decision (49-46, 48-47, 48-47), setting up a potential match up against “The Surgeon,” Chip Moraza-Pollard.
